My motivation to lose the baby weight!

I am a goal kind of girl! If I have something to work towards I am more likely to succeed. My next fashion related goal is thanks to Kirsten Dunst. After seeing her in a tuxedo, skinny ankle skimming trouser, white shirt, top knot and bold lipstick combo recently I have the motivation to lose the baby weight by christmas so I can rock this look!

What's more I am pleased to see that our baby boy or girl will also be able to show those other babies how to be bang on trend for A/W 2011!

New fuller brows

After years of over plucking (my best friends older brother once called me sperm eyebrows) I recently took the plunge and am attempting to grow my eyebrows back. While I am waiting for the unsightly stubble to grow I invested in Benefit's 'Browzings' brow kit. I really like it as you can use the powder to fill in any gaps and the wax then seals it and darkens existing brows. The look is a more classic, vintage look.

If you are nearly down to drawing on a thin line then I suggest you give it a go to be more fashion forward and less Cher Lloyd!

Useful tip: massage and stroke your brows to stimulate growth in the right direction.

Kate shows Pippa how it's bum!

I really felt for Kate Middleton in the aftermath of her wedding. It is every bride's nightmare to not be the most talked about female attending your own wedding. So the fact that the country is still obsessing over her sister's bum must be pretty hard to take.

I like to think that is why she has played a trump card by wearing this amazingly beautiful Jenny Packham dress to a recent gala dinner. I rather wish she had her hair up in a loose chignon so we could have seen more of the neck detail on the dress but when 'one' has such luscious, silky, tousled locks 'one' likes to show them off.

Does she remind anyone else of Angelina Jolie in the last picture?

Dumdidumdidumdidumdidumdidumdiduuuuu . . .

What am I going on about? If you haven't already guessed it by my title (took me ages to work out how many 'di dums') then I will spill the beans. The Apprentice UK is back on our screens next week. It always amuses me how they manage to find so many . .urm . . .how to put it politely . . . 'nobheads' for one show! What doesn't amuse me is the sea of grey and black that covers my screen the whole time I am watching made slightly more interesting by the daring few sporting a pinstripe!

Is colour not allowed in the corporate world? Would it be too exciting in their dull monochrome existence?

If you have to wear a suit to work, please, if only for this season add some colourful accessories. Clash them if you are brave enough, match them if you want to play it safer or at least add a bright lipstick! You never know the shock you may give your boss may get you the promotion you have been longing for!

If I had the chance to go on the show I'd wear this (without the beanie). I'd have to wear it week in week out as Jil Sander doesn't come cheap but at least I would be remembered as the 'nobhead in the pink suit' and not just any old 'nobhead'!

Osama Bin Laden

Right, before you start to panic and think that someone has hacked into my blog there has been something playing on my mind that I want to get people's opinion on.

I know the details are sketchy and probably always will be but is it really acceptable for Osama Bin Laden to have been killed in the way he appears to have been. I know (or so I've been told by the media) that he was the mastermind behind 9/11 but something still feels wrong about killing an unarmed man while he cowers behind his wife. If this is indeed what happened.

Does this not pave the way for vigilantes to take the law into their own hands and seek justice for crimes that have affected them?

Discuss . . .

On a lighter note - Suri Cruise number 21 in Glamour's best dressed list???? WTF!

Is it wrong to have a picture of Suri Cruise under the title Osama Bin Laden? Discuss . . . .

I'm back

I know I've been out of action for a while but I have decided to get back on the 'blogging horse'. This is for a couple of reasons :

1) I have a lot of crap in my head that I want to share and although he tries his best my husband just doesn't get it.

2) I am 5 months pregnant and want something to force me to keep in touch with reality so I don't go all 'goo goo ga ga' baby obsessed.

What better way to make a comeback than the ' what I would have worn to the Met Gala' game . . . .

I know it is quite an obvious choice but I loved the vintage McQueen dress worn by SJP. I love the detail and lets face it, we'd all love to know what vintage McQueen feels like!

I would then be torn between the Topshop Unique number worn by Ginnifer Goodwin as I love her complete look-shoes, jewellery and eye makeup . . . .

Or the vibrant pink Derek Lam number worn by Michelle Monoghan. Simply because it would be refreshing to be in a this season trend rather than a ball gown or something from next season!

Who's dress would you have worn? Any of the above or is there an amazing dress I've missed? If anyone says Beyonce's I suggest you read one of my previous posts and also youtube her to see how she waddled in it! Not so elegant . . .

Guess who . . . . .

Just wanted to share these fab pictures of Cameron Diaz for V magazine. For someone soooo squeaky clean I think she has managed to deliver real attitude. Love it.
